ATIA
The Assistive Technology Industry Association (ATIA) is a not-for-profit membership organization of manufacturers, sellers and providers of technology-based assistive devices and/or services. Its mission is to serve as the collective voice of the Assistive Technology industry so that the best products and services are delivered to people with disabilities. ATIA holds an annual conference in Orlando, Florida during January that provides a forum for education to professional practitioners serving those with disabilities. NATE
The National Assistive Technology in Education Network (NATE) brings together information from the many fields and disciplines that are involved in assistive technology services in educational settings. NATE works to help service providers develop their capacity to work collaboratively to implement assistive technology services that are legal, ethical, cost effective and efficient.
QIAT-PS
Quality Indicators for Assistive Technology in Post-Secondary education (QIAT-PS) offers tools and resources for implementation of quality assistive technology in post-secondary environments including education, employment and other post-school environments. The project is sponsored by the Great Lakes ADA Center and the Southwest ADA Center, members of the ADA National Network. QIAT-PS is a collaborative effort of hundreds of professionals from a wide variety of higher education and K-12 schools and based on the successful implementations of assistive technology indicators in K-12 public schools.
